Brittany Capozzi
Brittany Capozzi is a graduate of Curry College (Magna Cum Laude) with a double concentration in Creative Writing and Professional Writing. She started writing short stories at the age of nine and the short stories evolved into poetry and essays during high school. While in College, she was given the opportunity to be an author in the literary arts magazine, The Curry Arts Journal ,and shortly after, co-editor. With acquired writing and editing skills, along with a hint of inspiration, she won her first writing award for the Freshman Essay Contest. The experience acted as a stepping stone for when she wrote her undergraduate thesis: Therapeutic Writing: A Remedy for Understanding and Transforming Life Experiences. Senior year served to bookend the four years as she received the English and Poetry Award.
Since then, Capozzi has continued to be a student in Life's classroom; Learning about different aspects of holistic heath, becoming a yogi and bellydancer, taking Italian classes, experimenting with Photography, and volunteering for the annual Boston Book Festival. All paths cross, strengthening her voice and enabling it to be shared with others for the greater good.
